accent pillow case baby Memorial Day Craft –； DIY Decor custom anniversary gifts
Truth be told， I don’；t usually decorate for Memorial Day.？ I also don’；t usually decorate for Fourth of July because I’；m always in Utah.？ But for some reason， I saw my little flags in the hutch drawer and I really wanted to do something with them.？ I also wanted to do something with my old jars. It was time to try a Memorial Day Craft!funny standard pillowcases
I thought about what I could fill the jars with that would be festive for either Memorial day or Fourth of July.？ I wanted to use something I already had.？ I grabbed my bag of rice and food coloring and colored me some rice.
I wanted to do about 5 of these and set the outdoor tableaccent pillow case baby，with a long line of jars. But it was raining， so my indoor display will have to do.

This was the simplest idea I have ever done.？ I poured the rice in a glass bowl， dropped a few drops of food coloring right on the rice and mixed until well blended.？？ Once blended， I poured into my jars by color. Done!
The beauty is that I can leave this up til after the fourth of July.？ Sweet!

To me, January represents a clean slate. After the color and chaos of the holidays, I like to restore my home to a more neutral and calming state. It’s been a blanket of white outside for days and now inside as well. For the most part, the main level of our home is neutral in color. It provides a beautiful backdrop to any hint of holiday and seasonal decor I add in through the year. It easily transitions. In January, I don’t have a lot of added decor, just a few paper whites and succulents to brighten the space and add a beautiful fragrance. Our home feels so fresh, clean and almost new again. By February, I’ll be adding in touches of red and pink, but for now, I’ll relax and enjoy this new beginning with winter white January decor.
